Today I will be doing a review on the Too Faced and Kat Von D Better Together Palette. When I first saw this on Twitter, I freaked out. Too Faced and Kat Von D are two of my favorite brands and I was soo excited to see that they were going to collaborate on this palette. This palette is so unique! It's amazing how the Too Faced side is very soft and natural while the Kat Von D side is more bold and dark. It's amazing how they could bring those two sides together.

Let's start off with what this set includes! So this set is retailed at $65 and it comes with 6 eye shadows from the Too Faced section in their signature formula, and 6 eye shadows from Kat Von D section in her signature formula. It also comes with a full sized Better Than Sex Mascara and a full sized Kat Von D Tattoo Eye Liner.

The packaging itself is super cute! It is in the shape of a heart! One side is pink and has that signature Too Faced art/packaging style, while the other side is black with the signature Kat Von D style.
Something that I love about this palette, is that the heart breaks apart and attaches back together magnetically, I thought it was a very cute touch to add to this palette.

When I first purchased this palette, I went home and immediately had to test it out! So I did half of my face with the two face side and the other half with the Kat Von D side. So I could kind of compare both sides!
These eye shadows have the same consistency as all the other Too Faced palettes! They are very soft easy to blend and are pigmented. The colors that stick out to me in this palette are BFF, Friendspiration, Power Couple, and Heart of Gold. To be completely honest, the only shade that didn't hit it off for me was Lovely. It just didn't really apply well and didn't work for my skin tone. I was super sad, because that is such a pretty pink shade.

This palette is honestly way out of my comfort zone! When I was trying to create a look with this palette, I didn't really know where I was going with it. I ended up making this beautiful, dark look with the shades Swoon and Devotion and honestly, I really loved it. These eye shadows are so pigmented and apply so vibrantly on the eyes. I was not disappointed. The colors that stuck out to me are Swoon, Devotion,Por Vida, Love Struck.

I love the concept of the whole design, even though I might not use some of the colors in the palette, I think it's a great overall palette! They are all very pigmented and just a really good way to step out of your comfort zone.
