Twin Sized Mattress by The Front Bottoms
╰☆╮ I've always loved this album so much since high school and I haven't listened to them in so long! I found them again in my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify and I'm so glad. This is my favorite song in the album.
Die For You by the Weeknd
╰☆╮ Ugh, you guys already know I had to add the Weeknd. (I actually added two or three other songs, I just won't list them because I gave my reason for loving the song soi many times lol) I just can't get over this album! I even got my husband singing his songs heheheh :p
One by One by Sticky Fingers
╰☆╮ I found this song through Sarah Baska's Spotify account and it's so good!! It's so catchy! I love it, I always find myself listening to this song when I'm cleaning LOL
Heartstrings by Leighton Meester
╰☆╮ Leighton Meester is so talented! She's an actress (and an amazing one at that!) and now a singer! Ugh, what can't she do? This song is so calming and her voice is so lovely. I love this!
Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart by Chris Cornell
╰☆╮ The first time I heard this song was on the Houston rock music radio station 94.5 The Buzz (aka my favorite radio station) a long, long time ago and my siblings and I really loved it! We just didn't know the singer of this song and I recently listened to the station again at the exact time this song was playing! I immediately Shazam'd this song and finally found the artist. WOOOO!
Daft Pretty Boys by Bad Suns
╰☆╮ I love Bad Suns so much and I'm so glad to say I saw them live! This is one of their new songs and it's so good! SO catchy!
Pyramids by Frank Ocean
╰☆╮ The first time I heard this song was when I was watching Gossip Girl for the first time (many, many years ago) and they played this song in season 6 episode 5 " Monstrous Ball".
Shiny by Jermaine Clement (Moana OST)
╰☆╮ UUUUUGGGGHHHH, I loved this song since it was released on YouTube. I've listened to this so many times because it's so catchy. I've listened to this before I watched the movie so many times and now that I've watched it, Tamatoa singing Shiny is my favorite part in the movie.
Off To The Races by Lana Del Rey
╰☆╮ This is my all time favorite Lana Del Rey song! Lana Del Rey is one of my queens and her Born to Die album is the most amazing! OTTR is so fast paced to me and I love it. Even my husband sings it in the car sometimes ;p
Heroes by David Bowie
╰☆╮ David Bowie has so many hit songs and this one (and Changes + Life on Mars) is my favorite!
UR Town by Willow
╰☆╮ I recently discovered Willow a couple of months ago and she sounds so much like Rihanna to me. Is it just me? Let me know!
These Girls by Sticky Fingers
╰☆╮This is my favorite Sticky Fingers song and One by One is a close second! I always listen to this song on repeat, I just can't skip it lol
Both (ft. Drake) by Gucci Mane
╰☆╮ I'll be honest, this song is only on this playlist because of Drake. Good thing the song is mostly him! ;p
NEW DORP. NEW YORK by SBTRKT
╰☆╮ The first time I played this song out loud, my sister told me to stop playing it LOL. I don't know why she'd want me to; I think it's sooooo good! Especially since Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend is in it! The beats are catchy and Ezra makes it better!
stranger than earth by Purity Ring
╰☆╮ I think this is my favorite song by Purity Ring! I love Purity Ring so much and it's so hard to pick a favorite but i always find myself listening to this song most of the time. I really hope I get to see them live again!
Pop Style by Drake
╰☆╮The first time Pop Style dropped as a single, Kanye West and Jay Z were featured in the song (even though Jay Z had like, two lines) and I always wondered why, in the final version he added to his Views album, did he take Jay Z and Kanye off "Pop Style" for the album? So naturally, I googled it and he told Zane Lowe this: "Of course people want to hear Jay Z rap, so hearing two lines might be frustrating to a certain audience...I was having a conversation with Kanye and that [Jay's verse] just kind of landed in my lap. I dealt with it accordingly. It didn't play out how I would have wanted it to as far as business goes, so I just figured it would be easier to go with my version." Jesus Christ by Brand New
╰☆╮This song is so sad but I love it so much. This is the first song (and my favorite song) that I heard from Brand New and it was like love at first listen! Brand New is such a good band, I wanna see them live so bad.
The Less I Know The Better by Tame Impala
╰☆╮I love the new direction Tame Impala is moving towards! The other Tame Impala albums were so hard for me to like (I hate to say this) and it would take a while to get used to, but once Currents dropped, I fell in love!
Avian by Mac Miller
╰☆╮The first time I heard this song was on a vlog by Meghan Hughes on YouTube! She has such amazing taste in music and once I heard Avian in one of her videos, I was like "WOOOOOOOOAH! I love Mac Miller and I haven't heard this song until now?!?!" Meghan Hughes changes live, I promise you.
Tron Cat by Tyler, The Creator
╰☆╮ Tron Cat is one of the few songs I listened to by Tyler, The Creator back in high school. I only listened to a couple of songs by him back then and I haven't listened to him until, again, Meghan Hughes played it in the intro of her YouTube videos! You know that feeling you get when you're listening to a song you were absolutely obsessed with and that you haven't listened to in years? THAT WAS ME. I'm telling you, Meghan Hughes changes lives!
Doubt by Twenty One Pilots
╰☆╮I was initially going to write my thoughts on this song, but I found an article online that says what I'm thinking 100% (and it's more organized than what I was going to type LOL); "It may be suggestive of what this song is about that I almost titled it “What does ‘Doubt’ by Blurryface mean?” “Doubt” by Twenty One Pilots seems as though it actually could have written by Tyler Joseph’s alter-ego Blurryface as it recounts several of his fears and begs God to not “forget about me.” The song is slow and methodical and iconic of the fears and anxieties that Tyler is dealing with in this album."

╰☆╮Hot Thoughts is Spoon's edgy new dance/rock song is so catchy and amazing! I'm already obsessed!
This is a good mix of old and new music!
